Perform a variety of routine office support and clerical functions. Act as initial point of contact for visitors to Snoqualmie Indian Tribe Administration. Respond to routine inquiries from the general public, visitors, customers, and other interested parties. Provide information on department services and procedures. This is a non-exempt hourly position that works under general supervision and reports to the General Manager or designee.


  • Act as receptionist and greet and refer visitors. Screen calls, mail, email, visits, and inquiries and respond or refer to appropriate department/person.
  • Maintain lobby and reception area to promote a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Provide information to customers about services, departments, procedures, and directory information.
  • Maintain confidentiality and communicate with tact and discretion.
  • Maintain status on employees' current location and availability throughout the business day. Make appointments as needed.
  • Perform basic word processing tasks; draft routine forms and letters. Copy and collate materials as needed.
  • Maintain visitor log. File and maintain various standard documents and records.
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes mail, messages, records, office supplies, and other materials.
  • Assist other groups or departments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six or more months related experience required.
  • Knowledge of basic administrative procedures and office practices.
  • Excellent customer service skills and written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize time and duties efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use tact and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings, including for marijuana.
  • Must pass background check.
